We collect only what we need to quote, schedule and clean your property, keep you updated, and bill you. We do not sell your information.
Who we are
Bright Luna Cleaning Co. ("Bright Luna", "we", "us") provides vacation rental turnovers, home cleaning, deep and move-out cleans, and office cleaning in Bradenton, Sarasota and the surrounding area of Florida. This policy covers this website and the Bright Luna client portal.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email, phone number and how you heard about us, when you request a quote or become a client.
- Property details: address, type of property, bedrooms, bathrooms, size, how often you want cleanings, access notes and special requests.
- Booking calendar links (iCal): if you rent your property, you can share the calendar link from Airbnb, Vrbo or another platform. We use it only to see check-in and check-out dates so we can schedule cleanings. These links do not give us guest names or contact details.
- Cleaning records: dates, checklists, notes, photos of your property taken by our crew, damage reports and the condition the previous guest left.
- Messages and reviews: what you send us through the portal, by email or by text, and any ratings you leave.
- Billing records: invoices, amounts and payment status. Invoices are created in QuickBooks. We do not store card or bank numbers on this website or in the portal.
- Website visits: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To send you a quote and answer your questions.
- To schedule cleanings, including creating a cleaning after each guest checkout when you share a calendar link.
- To let you know when your crew is on the way, and to send your cleaning report with photos.
- To send invoices and keep accounting records.
- To improve our service and keep our records accurate.
Photos of your property
Our crew takes photos during each cleaning as proof of the work and to document damage or missing items. These photos are shared with you and our office team. We will not post photos of your property on our website or social media without your permission.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts (for example, by checking the box on our quote form or your account set-up page), Bright Luna sends you messages about your service: quotes, scheduling confirmations, "on the way" alerts, cleaning reports and invoices. Message frequency varies with your cleanings. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also email us at brightlunasupport@gmail.com.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share or sell mobile numbers or text-message opt-in consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with the providers that deliver our messages.
Emails
As a client you also receive service emails: sign-in links, cleaning reports and invoices. These continue while you are a client.
Who we share it with
We share information only with people and services that help us run Bright Luna, and only as needed:
- Our crew members, who see the details needed to clean your property.
- Service providers that host and run our website, client portal, database and emails, and our accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Authorities, if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our team, clients or guests.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep client records while you are a client and for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal reasons. Quote requests that do not become clients are deleted when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, except records we must keep by law.
Security
Access to the client portal requires a personal sign-in link or password, and each client sees only their own properties, cleanings and invoices. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Remove a calendar link from your property at any time.

Children
Our services and website are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Fonts and cookies
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. The website does not use advertising cookies. If we add visitor analytics, we will update this page.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
